Who this covers
This policy covers aquatichorizons.net, operated by Aquatic Horizons LLC from 7010 NW 23rd Way, Unit B, Gainesville, FL 32653. Paying an invoice through the payment portal is covered in more detail by the payment privacy policy, which sits alongside this one rather than replacing it.
What we collect, and only when you give it
There is no account to create on this site and nothing to log into. Information reaches us in three ways:
- The contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number if you enter one, the location of your project, which system you are interested in, and your message. All of it is optional except the name, email address and location, and it is used to answer you.
- Paying an invoice. The invoice number, billing email address, amount, payment method category and transaction status. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us — see the payment privacy policy.
- Analytics. Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, referring site, and device and browser type. It is configured to measure traffic, not to identify individuals, and we do not use it for advertising.
We do not buy contact lists, we do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.
What we do with it
Enquiries are used to reply, prepare an estimate and carry out work you ask for. Payment information is used to locate the right invoice, take the payment and keep our books straight. Analytics is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site is failing people.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work:
- Google Analytics — site measurement.
- Brevo — delivers form submissions to us by email.
- Stripe — processes card and bank payments.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online — records invoices and payments.
- DigitalOcean — hosts the site and the payment service.
Each of them handles information under its own terms. We share information with anyone else only where the law requires it, or where it is needed to complete work you have asked us to do — for example a supplier delivering equipment to your address.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email while the conversation is live and are deleted once they are no longer needed. Payment and invoice records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Analytics data expires on Google's schedule, currently 14 months.
Your choices
Write to billing@aquatichorizons.net and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — we do not require you to live in a particular state to ask. To stop analytics entirely, use your browser's cookie controls or Google's opt-out add-on; the cookie policy lists exactly what is set.
Children
This site is for adults arranging pool work and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.
Security, and its limits
The site is served over HTTPS, payment credentials go straight to Stripe rather than through us, and access to enquiry email and accounting records is limited to people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use information will be described here rather than made quietly.
